Mobile Kitchen in Ukraine

In partnership with Feed The Hungry UK, Games 4 Good is looking to address food insecurity in Ukraine by launching an additional Mobile Kitchen to reach communities in conflict-affected areas. Since the beginning of the invasion in February 2022, Feed The Hungry has coordinated aid efforts, delivering over 3,000 tons of essential supplies across Ukraine and neighboring countries. This project aims to increase access to regular meals for those struggling in high-need areas.

The Need

The ongoing conflict has created severe food shortages, especially in Northern and Eastern Ukraine. Many towns and communities in these zones lack access to basic resources, putting countless lives at risk of hunger. Despite the support of existing aid, these areas require further assistance to meet the pressing food needs of affected populations.

The Solution

Through a collaboration with Bread of Life in Romania, Feed The Hungry currently operates two Mobile Kitchens in key areas across Ukraine, including Izmail, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zapozhzhia. These mobile units distribute hot and cold meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. However, with limited capacity, an additional Mobile Kitchen is essential to extend this life-saving service and reach more people in need.

The Opportunity

Feed The Hungry UK is seeking support to launch this additional Mobile Kitchen, which will serve more vulnerable communities across Ukraine. By partnering with Games 4 Good, donors can equip a van with specialized equipment for $10,500. This donation will cover the cost of the new Mobile Kitchen, providing immediate food relief to at-risk individuals in conflict zones. Together, we can bring hope and sustenance to those affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
